PT Griya Idola and PT Wahana Mitra Semesta, through their project Patimban Industrial Estate, have officially launched a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program aimed at supporting communities surrounding the industrial area. Held on Wednesday, 3 December 2025 at the Subang Village Office in West Java, the event was attended by the Regent of Subang, the District Head, village officials, and representatives from the Patimban Industrial Estate management team.
This CSR initiative focuses on improving long-term quality of life for local residents through two key activities: renovating homes in need of urgent repair and improving access roads that play an important role in community mobility.
The President Director of PT Griya Idola, Hengky Sidartawan, emphasized that the growth of an industrial park must go hand in hand with the improvement of community welfare. He explained that the home renovation and road improvement program reflects the company’s commitment to providing long-term benefits rather than short-lived assistance such as food packages or temporary aid, which have become common today.
“Griya Idola itself develops residential projects, so we understand deeply how essential home quality is for a family’s well-being. Unlike food packages that may last only a few days, a home protects and nurtures a family every day. In the long run, a person’s quality of life will always be tied to the quality of the home they live in,” Hengky noted. He added that the initiative aligns with the company’s vision to build an industrial estate that delivers sustainable benefits for surrounding communities.
The home renovation program focuses on houses requiring immediate improvement. Renovations aim to provide safer, healthier, and more livable homes for each family. Meanwhile, the road improvement initiative is intended to enhance safety and comfort for road users, ease mobility for local residents, and support economic activities, particularly access to essential community facilities.
As part of its commitment to grow together with the community, Patimban Industrial Estate ensures its CSR activities address real local needs. The program also involves local workers, village officials, and community leaders to ensure smooth execution and provide direct, meaningful impact for residents. These efforts are expected to strengthen the relationship between the industrial estate and nearby communities while supporting sustainable regional development in Patimban and its surroundings.
Commitment to Sustainability in the Industrial Estate

Patimban Industrial Estate integrates sustainability not only through CSR programs but also through environmentally friendly industrial practices within the estate. Initiatives such as providing Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) and utilizing solar energy systems form part of the company’s commitment to a more sustainable operational framework.
Developed by PT Wahana Mitra Semesta and PT Griya Idola, subsidiaries of the Barito Pacific Group, the 1,200 hectare industrial estate offers a variety of industrial properties including industrial land plots, commercial units, warehouses, and modern logistics centers. Its strategic location adjacent to Patimban Port and direct connectivity to major toll roads is expected to accelerate export import processes and reduce logistics costs.
With complete industrial utilities and supporting facilities, Patimban Industrial Estate is positioned to become a major driver in strengthening Subang’s potential as a future hub for automotive manufacturing and logistics in Indonesia.
