On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, a cooperation agreement was signed between PT Wahana Mitra Semesta and PT Griya Idola, the developers of the Patimban Industrial Estate, and the Class II Patimban Harbormaster and Port Authority Office (KSOP). The signing took place at the Ministry of Transportation office. The core objective of this collaboration is the development of public access infrastructure to directly link the Patimban Industrial Estate with Patimban Port.
The event was attended by Hengky Sidartawan, President Director of PT Wahana Mitra Semesta; Eddy Karli, Director of PT Wahana Mitra Semesta, the Director General of Sea Transportation, the Head of KSOP Class II Patimban, and other related representatives from the Ministry of Transportation. The event opened with an opening speech from Hengky Sidartawan, followed by the signing ceremony, and concluded with a speech by Muhammad Masyhud, Director General of Sea Transportation at the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia.
This cooperation is expected to improve road access to Patimban Port, making transportation faster and more efficient, thereby enhancing logistics efficiency. The optimization of Patimban Port as a key element of national connectivity is also expected to strengthen export and import activities and support national economic growth.
The development of port access infrastructure also supports the growth of industrial areas around the port, including Patimban Industrial Estate. Improved connectivity is expected to facilitate business activities, create job opportunities, and promote economic development in surrounding regions.
The signing of this agreement represents a joint effort between the government and the private sector to strengthen connectivity infrastructure. Through this collaboration, the development of access to Patimban Port is expected to deliver long-term benefits for the community, businesses, and the national economy.
